Olivia: I<3THESE BOOKS *runs around screaming in excitement* =D

Elizabeth: Why Twilight? Because It is such a romantic book... and I'm a SUCKER for romance. Plus, the only reason I continue to read the books is only one thing (or vampire) : EDWARD CULLEN. sigh.

Megan: Why Twilight? My friend was telling me one day about the book and how slowly there were more and more people at my school were becoming obsessed with Twilight. I wanted to read it badly because i absolutely love any supernatural books. She said that it would be a while until i got the book because so many others were waiting for it. While I was waiting she had a copy and let me read the little bit i could durring 5th hour, i was deeply immersed in the book all the way through the bell my friend had to tell me that she needed her book back. i was so upset i wanted to read more, i had to wait about two more weeks for it and when i got it i spent the whole night reading it, i skipped doing all my homework and failed a homework check in math. It was totally worth it though. The next day i begged my mom to go and get New Moon for me but she wouldn't, so I went to the library to put it on hold but the estimated wait was about 126 days I couldn't bear that kind of wait so I had to wait until the next time i went to the mall and had money. It was a couple weeks and i couldnt wait to read it that i started before i even got to the register! i was done in the early hours of the morning, and got about 2 hours of sleep before i had to wake up and trudge though another day sad that i had no more Twilight/ New Moon to read. now i am obsessed with finding every little thing i can about Eclispe and cursing myself for not having enough money to buy the special edition of New Moon so i could read the first chapter of Eclipse but finally I got to read it I was squeeling to myself the whole time and my family was like what the heck Megan? three weeks seems like an eternity to me but if Eclipse is going to be as good as i think then the wait will be well worth the wait. More i like about Twilight is that Bella is shorter, brunette, and pale, just like me, it makes me feel like maybe I can have an Edward too! If not Edward himself :]. Stephenie Meyer is pretty much my hero now, she is an amazing! writer!

Miki: Why Twilight? It was requested to me by a friend who said it was awesome!! And boy was it!lol! i stayed up every night till at least midnight reading. I'd promise myself just 1 more chapter but then something interesting would happen!! I also read it because of the whole vampire and werewolf thing I love that sort of stuff!!

Elizabeth: Why Twilight? Ummm.... do you even need to ask? It is only the best book I have ever read. I have spent the last three years searching for a book like this, and it comes to me, by randomly picking a book off the shelf in the library. I read the first three pages and new already that I would love it. And now Ihave read it over five times. It helped me through a summer of pain, and I hoping it will help me through my agonies for the rest of my life! Perfect mix of Danger and Romance. You can't get much better than that.

Katy: Why Twilight? Because I love the mystery of the story and of how two people (who can never be together) are in love. I'm writer myself and my stories are nothing compared to Twilight.

Anonymous: Why Twilight? Because it's the best book ever! Duh... Edward! Sometimes I'll read a passage that literally takes my breath away. My parents roll their eyes whenever I talk about it. I love the suspense and romance and action. Who couldn't love it! Now we just have to get everybody we know to read it!

Christina: Why Twilight? I absolutely love the descriptions of their views of each other! There are some books that completely drag, satiated with descriptions that could make you cry (although Grapes of Wrath was a "good" book... way too many descriptions. Cold Mountain was the same... horribly descriptive) However, Twilight has the descriptions of all the right things, especially the emotions! I love the scene where they're in the meadow/clearing in the woods and how Bella describes all those "little" things that makes you empathize completely with the her. It pulls you along effortlessly, while ensnaring your complete attention and devotion to the characters. To be honest, I was in a rut: a book rut. About one and a half years ago, I was reading manga like crazy... and somehow began to neglect books... At the beginning of this year, I began to read for pleasure again and I found I had trouble going through books... Two years ago, I had no trouble going through books unless they were boring. Just when I began to worry that I wouldn't be able to read as fast or with as much enthusiasm as I used to... I picked up Twilight on a whim. Yes. A whim. I heard it was good but it didn't seem to leave an impression... Then, at the library, a new shipment of books came in and someone saw Twilight. I said oh! and then she told me there was another copy. I borrowed it... I finally read it in the beginning of July... I couldn't put it down... It was the first time I was able to read a book so fast since Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Catherine LeVenduer... I haven't read that quickly since some of my favorite books... The book to prove that I could go back to reading and that made it to my favorite list... Two birds with one stone xD and all that enthusiasm just came flooding back and I am a happy ecstatic person again. With Books!!! not something computer related, but books! I haven't touched my computer as often as I used to and that's saying something.

Amber: Because of the vampires, of course. They are all interesting, especially Alice and Jasper. Edward's amazing too, of course. I just picked up the book and didn't put it down until i finished the whole thing (2 days).

Alison: Why Twilight? Because the thought of Edward's and Bella's love gives me butterflies. And then there's my whole obsession with sparkly things. ; )

Anonymous: Because Stephenie Meyer can actually write! That is big, people! Believe it or not, not everything that gets published is good. In fact, lots of it is garbage. So it's nice to find a well written, amazing book that actually uses vocabulary and semicolons! Plus, the characters. Need I say more?

Ashley: Why Twilight, you ask? I'll be honest, I bought "The Book" (as I like to call it) on a total whim. The book I originally wanted wasn't available, and I was desperate for something to read. I picked it up and just bought it without thinking it twice. I read every single other book I had before Twilight. I was quite apprehensive, but after a while I decided, "What the heck? I'll give it a try". I started it before school at 6:00 AM and read it all through the school day. My English teacher didn't even bother to tell me to pay attention, since she saw how entranced I was by it. I finished it that very night, and read it again a week later. I'm the kind of person that isn't exactly happy with their life, to say the least, but when I read Twilight I became so entranced into it's world that everything that was occurring around me was simply unimportant. I laughed, I cried, I yelled at the book and felt like throwing it out the window. But most importantly. I made friends because of it. Yes, I did. I made some of the best friends ever. And thanks to the various forums related to it, my best friend who recently moved away and I were able to keep contact. That is why Twilight is the best book in my Universe.

Chrysten: Well, I love "Twilight" because it's like my life in a book (of course there is no Edward) But everything else is like everything that happens to me. Like im a danger magnet and i've moved. That's why I LOVE "TWILIGHT"!!!!!

Mrs. Edward Cullen (lol): I think the appropriate question would be: Why NOT Twilight??? It's got everything!!!! Vampires, adventure, romance, werewolves, and (drum roll, please) EDWARD CULLEN !!! Need I go on?

Alina: Why Twilight? Well it's one many things you blame on my best friend. Her aunt gave it to her, she read it, wouldn't stop talking about. Well I was visting her, she told me that i should read. I told her I was happy with the book I had on me. Well she tells me I should like it, since Bella and Edward are very much like Buffy/Angel. Now this work because and avid Buffy Fan as a passionate Buffy/Angel Shipper. So i picked and started to read just to please her, as well as my need to see if what she said was true. Well I'm a slow reader so I didn't get far in the time that I was there, and opt not to borrow from her. Well I left and went home about had kept think about it, but I could just go it, I was only bearly 16 and she lived in different city. So sought out Fanfic, After I somewhat freaked mostly cuz I didn't know the whole story. So during march break, she came to vistit and brought it with for me to borrow. Well, once I for into it, I just couldn't put it down, at one point I was sitting in History and I had the book open on the desk and was reading it between takeing notes. Well in the end she was right I did like. I fact I loved it.

Sue: I'm not sure why but when I read this books (or think about them for that matter) I swear I feel like I can't brethe for like 3 seconds!!!!!!!

Victoria: Well... because Twilight is the best book EVER!!!!!!!!!! I mean, who CAN'T love it? It has everything!! You can't get any better than action, with some romance, and supernatural breathtakers!!! I know everyone would agree that without EDWARD CULLEN, twilight would be almost nothing!! (God Forbid!!) That's why i say GO TWILIGHT!!!!

Rachel: Why Twilight? Hmm where should I start?! I've got to tell you that Twilight meeting my hands, was pure fate. I was in Barnes and Noble one day, and I had two books in my hand; one of which was Twilight and the other I honestly don't remember. On a whim, I decided to choose Twilight, and I'm sooo glad that I did. The first time I read it I was captivated. I'm a pretty fast reader, and I probably didn't read anything BUT Twilight for a good 8 months, partially because I couldn't get a hold of New Moon for a while. Now my book cover is coming off. At our local library, and our school library, I had put my name on the holding list. As it happens, I had been waiting for months and months on end, and of course one day I not only got one of them but the other at the same time! Besides the part that the Twilight series is pretty much the best EVER, I love it because it combines the perfect mix or romance, humor, and suspense. Just for your information, I'm a diehard Harry Potter fan as well. Yeah, I don't have a life. =D So if you're searching this site, take it from me, READ TWILIGHT. You're life will never be the same again. In a good way of course...^_^

whitney: It's about the true meaning of "Forever Love" its a PERFECT ROMANCE BOOK!!!! Anybody could read this and get sucked in! :)

Julie: Twilight is Amazing! I love this series because its all so realistic. I'm not sure I believe in vampires living among us, but if there are vampires and werewolves out there this would be the way it would be. I think so at least. Stephenie Meyer certainly has a vivid amagination and has a awesome way of expressing it. I hope she continues the series long after Breaking Dawn, not to mention MIdnight Sun is going to be awesome!

Kristen: Twilight is my favorite book ever (well it's tied with New Moon and hopefully Eclipse when it comes out)! I just can't seem to read it enough. Hopefully Eclipse will live up to Twilight and New Moon.

Mallory: I love this book and do not know any who has read it that hates it. I handn't even heard of this book when I asked my teacher for a book to read. She just gave the book and didn't tell me anything about it. so I read the back and didn't understand the boack at all But I so suprised when I started to read it. I loved twilight so much I read in one day. Twilight is like a classic romance novel, but whith a major twist. I loved Twilight and New Moon and hope Eclipse is just as good.

Meev.: I read it for the characters (especially Edward and Jake, haha). That's basically all there is to it. I'm a cynic when it comes to love, especially Bella's and Edward's insta-love, so it's not because it's a romance story. I love the characters, though, and I like how they talk; they could be real for all I know. That's why I like Twilight. It makes an unbeliever like me believe in vampires and werewolves. x3

Robyn: When I began reading Twilight I was put in a trance. I read for hours and hours. I stayed up untill 1 or 2 am reading it. I love the details and the way it discribes its characters. I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!!!!

moriah: I like Twilight because it takes you your own place it has a way of making you feel like one of the characters.

About: I was skeptical at first about the series. All my friends were reading it in 9th grade and I just wasn't into it. I had been burned pretty bad by a relationship and I just wasn't believing the whole 'love story' thing. Then, on one fateful night, I was at a book sale and was desperately seeking a new read. Twilight seemed to be glowing on the shelf and I was drawn to buy it. I didn't know why, like I said, I didn't want to even think about love. I went home and cracked open the fresh book. I instantly related to Bella. Her feelings became my feelings. Her curiosity became my curiosity. I carried the book around with me everywhere I went. I found myself even slowing down in reading it because I didn't want it to end. I closed the back cover and took a deep breath, then I realized something. I had learned to believe in love again. A simple book and taught me to believe in what I thought just couldn't exist. I also learned that every girl deserves their very own Edward Cullen. No one should settle for just some guy. He needs to be your guy. Your dream guy. Well, let's say I am not a skeptic anymore. As a freshman in college, I find myself having a lot of free time to re-read the books... again. I have my own 59 song playlist for all the books on my i-Tunes and I love that it brings me back to the moments in the books. I have met so many people just by saying that I am a "Twilighter". It amazing how passionate you can become about a novel. I am so happy I bought Twilight on a whim. It has transformed my life and taught me so much about myself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my Twilight story.

About: Recently, my youngest aunt died unexpectedly in her sleep.I was left in the most depressed mood that I've ever experienced. I felt like something inside my heart had fallen out, was missing, and would never come back. It was a physical condition that literally made me uncomfortable. I thought of New Moon, and how Bella feels throughout that book. She is always holding herself together with her crossed arms. I realized that this was the closest description to what I was feeling. My chest hurt, like it was falling apart inside. Then I thought of how Bella turns into a zombie for several months and decided that I didn't want to be like that. I didn't want to lose myself in grief, and I know my aunt wouldn't have wanted me to do that either. I know that this case is different, in that I will never get that piece of my heart back for good, but I don't want to be like Zombie Bella. I want to be strong, like Bella becomes after her loss. I will never forget how Twilight helped me straighten my thoughts and fix myself in the worst times of my life. It takes an amazing book to do something like that. And an amazing writer to portray such a real and painful emotion so realistically. From all of the ways that Twilight has changed my life, this is definitely the biggest. It helpled to support me when I thought nothing could, and gave me hope when everything in my world was bleak.
