Twilight Examiner's Amanda Bell has written an article calling for the end of the media's bashing of Twilighters/Twihards/Twifans. I ABSOLUTELY AGREE!! The article is worth reading.
That's it. Somebody has to say it. Enough with the passive aggressive Twilight fan-bashing already...
For months, it has been a running gag. Media outlets post snippets of information about the Twilight series, its cast, the studio involved, and the fans, but they do so under the auspices of irritation. An air of accomplishment accompanies their snarky remarks about fans of the series.
The Twilight Parents Examiner has an article with a little more history on Boo Boo Stewart (cast as Seth Clearwater in 'Eclipse'). Check it out here! Aside from random roles in a variety of flicks, the fresh-faced teen has a blossoming musical career and has modeled, most recently, for Kohl’s; his multi-faceted background mirrors that of his multi-talented Eclipse cast members.
Born Nils Allen Stewart, Jr., the 15 year old actor/ martial artist resembles a slightly younger Taylor Lautner, having been named the 2002 and 2003 Martial Arts World Champion and inducted into the 2004 Martial Arts Junior Hall of Fame.
Twilight Examiner has a picture of a barn, that is believed to have been a part of last night's shooting.
Last night, on the set of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, many on-lookers snapped photographs and videos of the production crew setting up a big, red barn.
The consensus seems to be that the scene beign shot involves two vampires in some sort of dream sequence. Most agree that this is probably related to Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) and his experience with the character Maria (which has been cast with Catalina Sandino Moreno).
Fanbolt.com recently talked to Justine Wachsberger (Gianna) about her role in the upcoming New Moon movie! Read the entire interview here!
How was that audition process for you? Justine Wachsberger: It was stressful, but it was fun at the same time. I auditioned for Heidi originally. At the beginning I started getting stressed out when I started hearing casting rumors about who had gotten the part. After about three weeks after auditioning, I got a call saying that I got cast as Gianna.
What was the filming experience like for you? Justine Wachsberger: It was crazy. I mean it was exciting. I got to go to Vancouver and meet all of the cast members. It was great working with Chris; he's an amazing director. The whole crew and cast were really nice and down to earth. It was just really fun.
We started with a simple country competition - you voted! Then we took the top 20 twitterers from countries around the twitterverse and added them into continental competitions - again you voted in your thousands! Now it seems only fair that the top twenty from each continent be lined up against each other for one final world competition.
Lainey Gossip has some photos from the Rome set of Rachelle's new film, 'Barney's Version'. Her co-stars Paul Giamatti and Scott Speedman are in the photos as well.
MTV's Larry Carroll interviewed Chris Weitz's brother Paul. They discussed the fact that both he and Chris directed vampire films, at the same time. Paul Weitz directed 'Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant' which will be released in October. They also have a brief video with Paul discussing the family connection to vampires.
ReelzChannel has posted a clip from last night's Twilight Spotlight and it features a little bit of my interview with them at TwiCon! Check it out below!
Thanks to Twilight Quebec for sending us scans from the Canadian magainze, "La Semaine". There is a great Twilight feature (written in French) that you can see in our gallery here!

About: I was skeptical at first about the series. All my friends were reading it in 9th grade and I just wasn't into it. I had been burned pretty bad by a relationship and I just wasn't believing the whole 'love story' thing. Then, on one fateful night, I was at a book sale and was desperately seeking a new read. Twilight seemed to be glowing on the shelf and I was drawn to buy it. I didn't know why, like I said, I didn't want to even think about love. I went home and cracked open the fresh book. I instantly related to Bella. Her feelings became my feelings. Her curiosity became my curiosity. I carried the book around with me everywhere I went. I found myself even slowing down in reading it because I didn't want it to end. I closed the back cover and took a deep breath, then I realized something. I had learned to believe in love again. A simple book and taught me to believe in what I thought just couldn't exist. I also learned that every girl deserves their very own Edward Cullen. No one should settle for just some guy. He needs to be your guy. Your dream guy. Well, let's say I am not a skeptic anymore. As a freshman in college, I find myself having a lot of free time to re-read the books... again. I have my own 59 song playlist for all the books on my i-Tunes and I love that it brings me back to the moments in the books. I have met so many people just by saying that I am a "Twilighter". It amazing how passionate you can become about a novel. I am so happy I bought Twilight on a whim. It has transformed my life and taught me so much about myself. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my Twilight story.

About: Recently, my youngest aunt died unexpectedly in her sleep.I was left in the most depressed mood that I've ever experienced. I felt like something inside my heart had fallen out, was missing, and would never come back. It was a physical condition that literally made me uncomfortable. I thought of New Moon, and how Bella feels throughout that book. She is always holding herself together with her crossed arms. I realized that this was the closest description to what I was feeling. My chest hurt, like it was falling apart inside. Then I thought of how Bella turns into a zombie for several months and decided that I didn't want to be like that. I didn't want to lose myself in grief, and I know my aunt wouldn't have wanted me to do that either. I know that this case is different, in that I will never get that piece of my heart back for good, but I don't want to be like Zombie Bella. I want to be strong, like Bella becomes after her loss. I will never forget how Twilight helped me straighten my thoughts and fix myself in the worst times of my life. It takes an amazing book to do something like that. And an amazing writer to portray such a real and painful emotion so realistically. From all of the ways that Twilight has changed my life, this is definitely the biggest. It helpled to support me when I thought nothing could, and gave me hope when everything in my world was bleak.
I am not Stephenie Meyer. I do not know her personally, I am not related to her, and I cannot send a message to her for you. This is just a fansite made by a fan of Twilight. All of the Twilight books and characters are the property of Stephenie and her publisher. I do not own anything.
