From the filming front this week – director David Slade posted on his Twitter page about shooting with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: “Shot with Rob and Kristen today, both gave great performances. Lots of frustrating noisy planes overhead but beautiful scene regardless.”

While I was at TwiCon this summer, I did an interview with a professor from Ohio State University. She is working on a book about the Twilight fandom and she needs fans like you guys to take a quick survey for her! This is what she has to say:

Sabrina Frank as Vera in 'Eclipse'?

Team-Edward.net is reporting that the winner of Germany's 'Mission Hollywood', Sabrina Frank, is going to portray Vera (Rosalie's human friend) in the 'Eclipse'. There is no official confirmation from Summit Entertainment as of right now.

'Wolf Pack' and Edi Talk 'New Moon' at NJ Convention

MTV has two more articles from the 'Twilight' Convention in New Jersey. One discusses the Q&A session done with Alex, Chaske, and Kiowa:
They shared several funny anecdotes from filming "New Moon," including Meraz's embarrassing moment with Kristen Stewart.
"I decided, all right, the Wolf Pack stay up all night looking for who's killing people on the res, so we don't sleep very much. So I thought it would be a great idea if I stayed up for 10 days straight." What should have been a simple scene — a confrontation between Bella (Stewart) and the Wolf Pack — became, in Meraz's mind, his "Brando moment." Wanting to try something different, the actor played the scene overly aggressive: screaming, grabbing Stewart by the throat, hurtling his line at her.
"[Director] Chris Weitz comes off-set like, 'Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little,' " Spencer chimed in: "Meanwhile the producers are freaking out back there."
" 'Cause nobody touches Kristen Stewart," joked Meraz.
The second article dicusses what Edi Gathegi had to say about 'New Moon':
When asked whether his character's penultimate showdown was more of a fight or a chase, Gathegi remained mostly mum, but did concede that it was hard acting with something that wasn't there. "We basically acted with a man holding a piece of cardboard shaped like a cow. So when you see the movie, look at my eyes and [decide], is he seeing a cow or is he seeing a wolf?"
