TIME Magazine’s “Top 10 Leaks”

The 2008 Midnight Sun leak has made Time magazine’s list of “Top 10 Leaks” along with some other very famous scandals. Check out the article on Midnight Sun here and see the full list of leaks here.
In 2008, she [Stephenie Meyer] tried something different (sort of) by retelling the events of the first books, only from Edward’s point of view. Sooner than you can say “glittering vampire,” 12 unfinished chapters from the new manuscript, Midnight Sun, appeared on the Internet. “I think it is important for everybody to understand that what happened was a huge violation of my rights as an author, not to mention me as a human being,” Meyer said in a message to fans. Rather than punish her loyal following, Meyer posted her entire unfinished Midnight Sun draft on her website. The only catch is that it’s unprintable — better bring an e-reader.

She didn’t post the entire thing online—just part—she never finished Midnight Sun…. wish it was the entire one though.
I swore that I would not read that online…but once you start, you just can’t break away! I love Twilight, but Midnight Sun to me was way better…I may just be a bias Edward fan tho! Either way, it was awesome and I would love for her to finish and publish it!
we all wish she would but i really think she wont!! she said what happened really effected her and she will not finish it any time soon!! i LOVED midnight sun!!! it was better then twilight in sum ways cause more is happening to edward then bella!! we all just need to cross our fingers and wait!!
In the new-printed Twilight books in Sweden (translated into Swedish) the “First sight” chapter is in the book, right before Bellas story begin. That kinda sucks I think, because many people I know started reading that chapter and thought it was really bad written. What if they had stopped reading because of it!:(
I have a question: I went to Stephenie Meyers page and clicked the link to Midnight Sun. Everones talking about “12 unfinished chapters” but I can just find one,”First Sight”, why is that? Would really appreciate an answer.

well sorry but i really dont now what you mean! i went on her sight again and clicked on midnight sun partical draft and it gave me all the chapters!!! maybe try it again?? idk sorry
Alva—I think you clicked the link that said “Midnight Sun Chapter 1″ at the bottom of the page…What you have to do is scroll up to the link closer to the top of the page that says “Midnight Sun Partial Draft.”
